Join Herbalist Lakeja Baylor for a class about the use of herbs for children. In this class we will discuss when and how to work with herbs for our children, safety, dosages, and recipes. This is a beginners herbal class, but all levels of herbalists are encouraged to join me.
Herbs we will be covering in this class are Catnip, Chamomile, Dill, Echinacea, Elder (flower & berries), Lavender, Lemon balm, Marshmallow, Nettle, Oat.
We will discuss the best delivery methods to get the herbs into your kids including teas, glycerites, syrups, vinegars, honey, powders, and more.
We will cover when herbs are the good choice, and also when to seek conventional medical help. Dosing guidelines will be covered using Young’s Rule & Cowling’s Rule.
Children are welcome if they can be respectful/attentive.
