- Participants will gain familiarity with chickweed, plantain, violet and dandelion, and the various ways they can be harvested for food and gentle medicine.
- Make Violet & Plantain Balm with Lavender essential oil
- Collectively make Dandelion, Violet, Chickweed Pesto to share as a group
May 27 ~ Nourish: Infusions and Food
Nettles (Urtica dioica), Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) Oat Straw (Avena sativa)
Violet and Chickweed continued…
- Learn how to prepare Nourishing infusions
- Prepare a mineral rich vinegar that could be sipped with warm water and honey or used as a yummy dressing
- Discuss ways to prepare Nettles as Food (share a little green goodness snack)
- Sip a nourishing infusion.
June 24~ Summer Solstice and Sunshine Tincture

- Premade popsicles will be shared after a demo on preparing a batch.
- Participants each make a tin of herbal pastilles with local herbs and honey
August 26~ Bath Blends & Facial Serums

- Rose, Calendula & Elder Oil
- Refreshing summer drink, preparing syrups (Raspberry Rose Sparkler) w/Dandelion Orange Bitters
October 1 ~ Nourishing Herbal Broth Blends Astragalus (Astragalus propinquus), Shitake (Lentinula edodes), Burdock (Arctium lappa), Nettle (Urtica dioica) & Calendula (Calendula officinalis),
- We’ll discuss those deep, whispering, nutritive, roots & the mycelial and fungal net of the earth
- Participants will make broth blends to take home in a muslin bag.
October 28~ Remember Your Roots! Food as Medicine
Marshmallow (Athaea officinalis), Burdock (Arctium lappa), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea)
- Instructor will bring freshly dug roots for you to see, smell and possibly nibble! We will discuss various preparation methods for each and their role in our home apothecary and kitchen.

November 25~ Local Flora Smoke Bundles
