The holiday season is full of reasons to celebrate, so why not enhance your gatherings with herbs! In this two-part workshop we will go over how to make an herb infused cordial, which is an herbal-infused liqueur, often lightly sweetened and created with the intention of good cheer. Alcohol is a great tool for extracting the medicinal compounds of plants, so if you are going to drink it anyway, why not add flavor and health benefits with herbs? After a short break we will explore herbal mocktails for those who do not consume alcoholic beverages or prefer a healthier way to enjoy happy hour. In both sessions we will make preparations for participants to take home. This workshop will be full of taste testing. Materials and some light snacks will be provided.
