Elizabeth Mobley is the Founder and CEO of The Dandiest Life, LLC. This company specializes in evidence-based, holistic, and grace-filled community integration and client-centered support for neurodivergent, medically complex or special needs individuals and their families or businesses navigate the Special Education system, work environments, and the community at large. We provide supportive measures by way of coaching and one-on-one family and individual training sessions. Elizabeth is also the Founder of Different is Dandy – Community Action Initiative, which is a private foundation that empowers communities for change and provides services and resources to marginalized populations. Elizabeth Is also a trained DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula studying and preparing for her international certification while running the service The Dandiest Doula, through her company.
Elizabeth graduated from Shepherd in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She has since moved on to earn her master’s degree in special education and teaching in 2015 and is expected to graduate with her Doctor of Education in community care and counseling for marriage and families in the Spring of 2027, both from Liberty University. Along with these studies, Elizabeth is enrolled in her second year of Clinical Herbology, with Sacred Garden School, located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia with a program completion date of May 2026.
Elizabeth is a mother of three tenacious, bright, and exuberant children. With her spare time, they enjoy the outdoors and getting their hands dirty, along with crafting (LEGO SETS!). She is committed to educating and empowering the medically complex, disabled, neurodivergent, and highly sensitive community, as this is a community she is proud to be a part of. Elizabeth still returns to campus, most notably to speak to students about diversity, equity, and neurodivergence experience at different events as well as sharing her perspective as a lived-experience practitioner on her business website/blog and social media platforms.
Within her community, Elizabeth serves on many boards and organizations including the Tri-County Black Educators, Mountain State Spotlight, the Friends Family Civitan Club, and the National Youth Advocate Program Human Rights Committee, The Mountain State Doula Network, and the WV Infant Maternal Health Working Group that seeks to create both legislature and actionable programs within the state of WV to support Minority and Low Income Birthing Persons, Infants and eliminate maternal and infant mortality.
